LIP products are solvent free wherever possible, chemically inert, cleanable and practically odourless. The product range can be subdivided into Antifriction Coatings and Dry Film Lubricants.

What is an Antifriction Coatings/Dry Film Lubricant? Either can be broken down as:

• Organic polymers or metal-complex compounds in a bonding film.
• Inorganic compounds

LIP coatings have three key properties:

1. Excellent adhesion properties
2. Excellent cohesion abilities (i.e. internal bond strength)
3. Low coefficient of friction

PEOX is the most versatile product in the range. PEOX comes in three types/three different viscosities - a fluid (slightly thicker than water like consistency), a viscous gel and a thick paste.

Used widely in automotive seating applications, the PEOX fluid known as PEOX AC612/21 is virtually invisible when applied in thin layers but is a vital tool in the premium seating market. this product is used by seating manufacturers, normally using a sponge, e.g.to prevent noise issues occurring where the plastic surround at the base of the seat interacts with the leather surface.

PEOX is considered a more cost effective alternative to Carbaflo, XTR5, KSP105 and other similar products.

LIP products are applied in a number of different ways and can be purchased in various sized containers. Typically 30ml Wipa Pens (aka Dabomatic), 40ml Felt Pens and 1kg containers.
